USEFUL KIT IDEA'S

USEFUL  STUFF

We get asked about kit all the time, although you wont need all this kit for a Cyclemorocco trip as we have a wonderful hotel to stay, we are planning to get permission from the Moroccan Authorities to Bikepack and wild camp in the Anti Atlas area. With that in mind here are a few ideas on stuff to take.
This is an extended Bikepacking equipment list which would lead to a comfortable couple of overnight camps. We know there are many Bikepackers who like to sleep on the ground in their cycling kit and eat dry crackers for dinner ......that doesn't appeal to us!!

We have added some item weights in grams as examples.

There are many great Bikepacking bags out there, we just happen to have Ortliebs which will serve as an example of the possible empty weight of your bags before you put anything in!

Thanks to Kim for sorting and weighing all of the above kit. At the end of the day there is no really definitive kit list for any type of cycle trip and it is just down to each individual to weigh up their needs and alter their personal kit according to the trip, time of year, bike, weather, budget, country.... the list of variables is almost endless. We hope this is just food for though. DG & Kim
