MEET OUR TEAM
David "Dave" Goodworth
Dave is one of the UK's leading outdoor instructors, specialising in bushcraft and primitive survival skills, running canoe expeditions and teaching archery.
He recently retired as Director of PathHill Outdoors an alternative education centre which he co-founded with Kim George in woodlands in South Oxfordshire.
His love of adventure has seen him live, study and travel worldwide.
Morocco has captivated Dave and he hopes to spend many more years adventuring and expolring its barren landscape.
and he loves riding bikes too.
Greg Woodford
Greg has an extensive cycling CV with many years of work with all the top UK based cycling Organisations including CUK, CTC and Sustrans. He is the Chairman of Reading Cycling Club, a Tour leader for the CTC, Director of Avanti Cycling and a highly respected competitor and coach.
You will never meet a more dedicated and focused cyclist, who's mission is to bring cycling back to the forefront of transport.
Greg's love of competition has recently led him to producing lifetime personal bests in time-trialling and he has taken part in the Amateur World Championships. We expect him to win his age group at the next one in September 2020

Kim George
Kim George, ex-racer and race commissaire with a passion for cycling history. He is also one of Europes best Telemark ski instructors, a respected canoe instructor and outdoor leader. Kim is a man with some great stories.
Kim's love of all things bike related has led to him accumulating a very large and interesting bike collection.
If you are fortunate enough to be out in Morocco with Kim expect to be entertained.
Oh and he also wrote the first UK MTB Leaders Training Guide back in the day.
Enough said.
Hanafi Chaouki
Hanafi is our Moroccan super guide. Born in the area and living in Aguerd Oudad, Tafraoute, his local knowledge of tracks and trails is unparalleled and his bike skills are superb. He has a diploma in tourism but is known locally for his abilities as a cycle coach and for winning every competition.
Hanafi also works at Hotel Chez Amaliya so when he is not riding with us, you will be able to catch up with him there where he loves to practice his foreign language skills.
About Cycle Morocco's Roots and Aims
Cycle Morocco runs it's tours through the UK based cycle travel company Bikexplore which is a member of the TTA, Travel Trust Association.
Greg Woodford has his own cycling company Avanti Cycling which for many years has delivered cycling related training (Bikeability) to both adults and young people in the Reading and South Oxfordshire areas of the UK.
An important part of Avanti Cycling's work is training Heavy Goods Vehicle drivers (Safe Urban Driving) which aims to bring a more co-operative approach to sharing the road with other road users. Our leaders and instructors are fully qualified and the company believes in the very best training and support for all its team in the UK and abroad.
Cycle Morocco evolved from the cycling tours that we have led across Morocco and the incredibly warm welcome that we have received wherever we go. It is a very natural and co-operative program that involves many local people and we aim to foster a positive and supportive role in the local Tafroute community over the coming years.
